An update into Sunday’s fatal collision on Hwy 17 west of Markstay.

OPP have identified the deceased as 53 year old Carole Mantha of North Bay.

The other driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police continue to appeal to the public for any information about the collision or any vehicle driver behaviour in the area around the time of the crash (3:22 pm Sunday, December 16th).

If anyone has any information, they’re urged to contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.

The investigation continues.
