The ‘United We Roll Convoy” of about 200 trucks and vehicles passed through North Bay yesterday (Monday).

They’re on their way to Ottawa and are expected arrive on Parliament Hill this morning to push the Trudeau Liberals to get moving on pipelines and make their energy policy more industry friendly.

They’re demanding the federal government scrap new energy policies and withdraw from a global compact on migration.

The drivers set out from Red Deer, Alberta last week.

Counter-protests are expected by groups accusing the convoy of giving voice to far-right extremists spewing hateful rhetoric.
