Three local residents are being honoured by the Rotary Club of North Bay next month as Paul Harris Fellows.

Ted Thomson, Brian Chute and Ralph Diegel are being recognized with Rotary’s highest honour, for their outstanding service and dedication to the community.

A celebration is taking place at this year’s Dine With The Author dinner, on May 11th at the Best Western.

in a release Club President, Steve Wright, commented that “This award [PHF] is the highest honour a Rotary club can bestow on an individual and acknowledges ‘service above self’ by those persons who are selected”. Wright added “our club is very pleased to be able to recognize Ted, Brian and Ralph, 3 deserving individuals in our community”.

Special guest speaker is Terry Fallis, two-time recipient of the Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour and author of six national best-selling novels.

Proceeds will be going to the Callander Public Library Building Fund and Rotary’s international literacy programs.
