The province announces funding for three major tourism events

Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli has announced well over $300,000 in funding for three major tourism events.

Most around $250,000 goes towards the International Plowing Match & Rural Expo in Verner in September.

Close to $50,000 goes to the Smoke ‘N’ Spurs Festival in Powassan on Labour Day weekend and $20,000 for Mattawa Voyageur Days in July.

Meantime, the Seniors Community Grant Program is accepting applications for funding until June 27th.

You can apply for up to $25,000.
