Carley induction HOF

Great results for three local athletes at the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games in Corner Brook.

Benjamin Chain won silver in Alpine novice Super G and bronze in Giant Slalom and Slalom.

Carley Tucker (pictured) won silver in her 200m snowshoeing final with a time of 53.9 seconds.

That’s only 0.9 seconds back of the gold medalist.

Meantime, Jon Touw was 5th in his final in 200m snowshoeing.

His time of 34.8 seconds was only half a second back of fourth and 1.4 seconds behind the bronze medalist.
