A successful weekend for North Bay's newest robotics team

North Bay’s newest Robotics Team went 21-0 on the weekend at a Toronto robotics event and came away with two gold medals.

Team 5807 CANbotics won the 16-team FRC Rookie event on Friday which qualified them for the senior event on Saturday, which they also won.

24 teams were entered in that event, including five previous world champion teams.

The local team’s robot won the Most Offensive Robot Award.

Meantime, the team is looking for more team members and community sponsors for the upcoming season.

Their goal is to qualify for the World Championship in St Louis, Missouri.
