‘Burgers for Relief’ starts Thursday and 18 local restaurants are taking part.

Funds raised will go towards a new kitchen for the Crisis Centre North Bay, the city’s only co-ed homeless shelter.

Last year they served about 30,000 meals in a kitchen that’s officials say is in dire need of upgrades.

Burgers for Relief runs from October 3-9, 2019.

Check out the “Kevin in the Morning” burger from Burger World Algonquin. It comes with bacon, Swiss cheese, mushrooms and fried onions on a pretzel bun.
