(file photo) Mayor Al McDonald says there’s a number of presentations lined up for tonight’s (Monday) City Council meeting, involving Community Living North Bay.

Council has a motion on the table to allow Community Living to leave their downtown location.

There’s just six items on the agenda regarding what McDonald calls day to day operation items such as rezoning proposals and equipment purchases.

As well, Council will see the proposal of the 2016 budget outline that McDonald brought forward in the special review committee last week, and there will be a motion regarding the North Bay Regional Health Centre from Councillor Mike Anthony.

Meantime, it has been reported that some City Councillors may be looking into the idea of a pay raise for those around the Council table.

McDonald was asked for his thoughts on that.

He says “my focus is on trying to get the budget as low as it can be, and if Councillor King wants to bring forward a motion on raising salary’s I want to see the rationale of that before I make any comment.”
