North Bay benefiting from increased Bearskin Airlines flights

North Bay and Timmins are seeing the largest increase in service with additional flights being offered by Bearskin Airlines, starting later this month.

That’s the word from company officials who announced they’re adding up to 23 new non-stop flights between it’s Sudbury Airport hub and Timmins, North Bay, Sault Ste Marie and Thunder Bay.

Plus, there’s an additional 37 new connecting opportunities.

In a release, Director of Marketing and Sales Ron Hell says, “This is a significant expansion of our service, “

He goes on to say, ” Demand for our service in NE Ontario has been growing as we continue to evolve our fares strategy to be more competitive in the marketplace. In addition, we are the only airline serving these markets that does not charge for your first checked bag, providing for saving up to $35 each way.”

The additional flights start September 28th.
