A dominate game against the Ryerson Rams for the Lakers Women’s Soccer team.

It only took 3 minutes before a goal was made by Lakers forward Kristen Farkas which would be the only goal until 75 minutes later when Emma Persi scored again for the Lakers.

One more goal from both teams put the final score at 3-1 for Nipissing.

This win puts the team fourth in the OUA East Division, and they look to improve their standing when they take on the Toronto Varsity Blues this afternoon at the Education Centre Field

Meantime the Lakers Men’s Soccer team fell yesterday against the Ryerson Rams keeping their opponents undefeated.

The Rams scored the opening goal and a follow-up, 15 minutes in the game, before the Lakers responded.

Andy Bago would then find the ball and score the only goal for Nipissing.

The Lakers lost 3-1 and hope to rebound this afternoon in a home game against the Toronto Varsity Blues who are sitting second in the division. Kickoff is set for 2:30.
