Lakers on the ice, pitch and cross country trails too

A busy weekend for varsity sports at Nipissing University.

The Nipissing Lakers men’s hockey team continues their on-ice scrimmages Friday afternoon from 1 pm to 3 pm.

They’ve been on the ice at Memorial Gardens all week.  Fans can also check out a Blue-White intrasquad game Saturday night at 7pm.

Meantime, both Nipissing soccer teams are back in action on Friday.

The women play Carleton while the men take on the University of Ottawa.

The women also play Saturday afternoon against the Ottawa while the Lakers Cross Country team is at Laurentian University on Sunday.
