More winter headaches, but spring is coming!

Snow accumulation and road conditions are having an impact on some school buses in the region.

School transportation officials say buses are cancelled in Mattawa, East Parry Sound, south of Highway 522, the Almaguin area along with Mactier, Humphrey and Rosseau. Schools remain open.

Meantime, Winter will end!

Nadine Powell is a Meteorologist at The Weather Network and she says they are seeing a general trend of above seasonal temperatures this spring.

She adds it could also be a dryer couple of months with the forecasts showing below normal precipitation for March, April and May.

Powell says that adds up to watch should be a nice spring after the next few weeks.

She says there will be a bit more winter type weather for the next few weeks.

Once we head into April and May, Powell says warm weather will become the dominant focus.
