Three separate break and enters have been linked to one suspect. North Bay Police made an arrest yesterday relating to the cases from March 23rd, May 11th and August 18th.

The accused entered the fenced compound of a business on Highway 11 North without permission and is accused of stealing cable wire and copper wire and of breaking and making inoperable six transformers in order to steal copper within them.

Police located the suspect on Four Mile Lake Road on Tuesday where he was arrested.

30 year old David James Dennis Deschene of North Bay is charged with three counts of break, enter and commit, one count of mischief over 5-thousand dollars and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

The investigation is ongoing – so police ask anyone with information to either call them or Near North Crime Stoppers.
