It’s being seen as a big boost to providing the resources and infrastructure needed for the burgeoning North Bay film industry.

Northern Ontario Film Studios are officially opening a full-service facility, dedicated to the feature film industry this afternoon.

It’s located at 1765 Jane Street, right at Gormanville.

Since 2013, their sister company, Hideaway Pictures, a full service film and TV production company shot the Flowership Mystery Series featuring Brooke Shields and Beau Bridges, Christmas With Tucker starring James Brolin and five other films in the North Bay area.
