Britney Spears announced that her highly-anticipated tell-all memoir, The Woman In Me, will be released on October 24th. The pop icon also shared the cover art in an Instagram post and said the book will tell her story on her own terms. The book’s official website describes the memoir as “a brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope.”

After first being revealed in February 2022, the book set off a bidding war and was reported to be worth as much as $15 million when publisher Gallery Books ultimately came out on top. “Britney’s compelling testimony in open court shook the world, changed laws and showed her inspiring strength and bravery,” their senior vice president said in a statement. “I have no doubt her memoir will have a similar impact — and will be the publishing event of the year. We couldn’t be more proud to help her share her story at last.”
