The Young Leaders On Board Program Is Returning For It's Second Year

This is a program that helps young adults become directors on not for profit boards, and it’s being offered again this year. Katina Matheson is the Community Coordinator for the United Way Sudbury and Nipissing Districts, and she says the program was successful last year.

Matheson says they had nine participants and eight host boards – and they are looking for any interested boards again.

She says it’s good to have a different perspective from various demographics around a board table and that’s what young adults can give through this program.
