Gas prices are up in North Bay

The price of gas is up at a number of fueling pumps around the city.

A litre of regular is listed just under $1.29.

That’s an increase of about eight cents.

But, for the time being, there may still be some deals out there with a few gas stations still listed just under $1.21.

Despite the increase, the price today is still about 11 cents cheaper than it was in North Bay last year at this time.

It was also around this time last year that the plunge in gas prices began, from a high of $1.46 at the end of June 2014 to when they bottomed out at just under 80 cents a litre in mid-January 2015.
