paintbrushChildren taking part in a summer art camp will have the chance to give back to the community tomorrow.

Chelsia Legree is the coordinator of the Scribbles and Brushstrokes Summer Art Camp. She says the four week camp is teaching children different styles and techniques for visual arts.

Legree says tomorrow (Thursday) their project will consists of decorating the Gathering Place Garden.

She says this is an opportunity to learn how to give back, because she says “a lot of kids have lost touch of having the urgency to get out there and help out the community.”

Legree says the children will paint planters, create mosaic stepping stones and pop bottle planters.
