Canadore College and Nipissing University agree to continue collaborative program

Nipissing University and Canadore College have renewed their collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing program agreement today (Wednesday).

The program is rooted in theoretical and evidence based knowledge, but complemented by applied learning techniques using advanced simulation labs.

Dr. Harley d’Entremont – the Vice President of Academic and Research at Nipissing University says “The collaborative program has proven very successful and is in high demand with students.”

Graduates of the program are eligible to write the National Council Licensure, which is the entry-to-practice exam.

Vice-President of Academics at Canadore College is Marguerite Donohue, who says “We have a proven track record in shared curriculum delivery and the partnership agreement means that degree nursing students in North Bay will continue to benefit from our collaborative best practices and expertise.”
