Provincial funding for a few area seniors programs

Three local groups are receiving funds from the Ontario Seniors Community Grant Program. 

MPP Vic Fedeli announced $4,800 goes to the North Bay and Area Potters Guild for a ceramics project, nearly $3,000 is for the North Bay Rising Stars and almost $2,800 goes  to the Powassan and District Union Public Library for a seniors lunch and learn project. 

Under the funding program, grants were awarded to projects that provide seniors with the opportunity to connect, contribute, learn and lead active lives.
