CallanderCanada Day comes early in Callander. Saturday’s celebrations include a pancake breakfast from 7:30 am to 10 am at the Community Centre, followed by the Canada Day parade at 11am along Main Street.   Once the parade wraps up there’s plenty of kids activities on the go at Centennial Park at noon — with inflatables, crafts for kids at the Callander Library, the magic of Ronnie D, and  Ken the Balloon Dude.  There’s also the Nipissing Country Music Association Competition Preview and an artisans market — with locally produced goods.

At 7pm there’s the cake cutting and singing of O Canada, followed by more music, the parade of lights at 930pm and fireworks at 10pm.
