Summer vacation is only hours away for students around the North Bay area and city police want motorists to remember local kids will be excited.

Police tweeted a message this morning (Friday) asking drivers to slow down in school zones and stop for school buses.

The next school year is scheduled to start on Tuesday, September 8th.
