drunkNorth Bay OPP are reporting three people are facing impaired charges in less than a week.

And police say impaired driving continues to be a key priority for the OPP.

Officers will be out all summer, on area roadways and waterways, targeting people who choose to use alcohol or drugs and then drive.  

 

A 40 year old Callander woman was charged after a call to police about a suspicious vehicle after 1 pm on June 17th.

Meantime, just before 10 pm on June 19th, OPP were called about a vehicle crossing the centre, hitting the shoulder and braking for no apparent reason on Highway 17 in East Ferris.

Police say the vehicle drove along a number of roads in East Ferris before getting back on Highway 17 westbound and going through a red light in a construction zone.

A 57 year old Mattawa man was charged with several counts including impaired and flight while pursued by a police officer.

And a 23 year old man from Salmon Arm, BC was charged after a vehicle crashed just before 4 am on June 23rd in Bonfield.
