Cecil's Brewhouse closer to brewing it's first craft beer

Construction on Cecil’s Brewhouse is wrapping up and it means they’ll be brewing five styles of craft beer right on the premises, at the corner of Main and Wyld.

Owner John Lechlitner says in just a few weeks they’ll be pouring their own beer.

He says they hope to eventually see bottles going out the door too.

He says, “We’re hoping the government will make the changes they’ve indicated they will, that would allow us to be able to sell packaged product for retail. But, at this point it’s only to be consumed in Cecil’s or available when we cater special events.”

Meantime, we told you yesterday about The Zoo Niteclub closing with an events centre to open this fall.

Lechlitner says they’ll be hosting social and corporate catering events. “We will be starting construction within a few short weeks and our facility will open the first of November.”
