North Bay schools to host a number of OFSAA championships next school year

A number of provincial high school championship competitions are coming to North Bay next school year.

The draft 2015-16 OFSAA calendar has been released.

Local schools are hosting the girls curling and girls AAA volleyball events next March, there’s badminton in May while the girls ‘A’ and ‘AA’ soccer event is being hosted locally in June.

Back in April, local officials announced that 13 OFSAA events will be hosted in North Bay through June 2017, bringing in an estimated $4-million in economic spin-off.
