Warming Centre open as part of Point In Time count

The North Bay Warming Centre will be open tonight (Thursday).

They’re opening to better facilitate the local Point In Time count.

The local count is taking place today and tomorrow.  It’s all about getting an accurate gauge of the homeless situation in North Bay.

Officials with the P.I.T. Committee previously said it’s not just about finding out a number, but it’s also about finding out what services the homeless need.

The Warming Centre is located at St John The Devine Church on Main Street East.
