City police reporting an update to a fraud investigation first reported on in early May.

A 25 year old city man has been charged with fraud over $5,000, theft of telecommunications over $5,000 and falsification of books and documents.

It’s alleged a person employed by a call centre from January to October 2014 ordered several cell phones and service for several accounts of clients known to them and then reversed the charges.

Meantime, the fraud investigation has also led to charges for a 28 year old city woman, with an arrest made yesterday (Tues).

She’s charged with fraud under $5,000, theft under $5,000 and falsification of books and documents.

It’s alleged a person employed by a call centre from January 2013 to August 2014 accessed their personal cell phone account and reversed charges on their bill.
