North Bay's Ken Appleby and his Oshawa teammates win the Memorial Cup

North Bay’s Ken Appleby stopped 37 shots as the Oshawa Generals won the MasterCard Memorial Cup Sunday night in overtime.

Anthony Cirelli‘s second goal of the game at 1:28 of overtime lifted the Generals to a 2-1 victory over the Kelowna Rockets.

It’s Oshawa’s first Memorial Cup since 1990.
