Missing several key players, the North Bay Battalion couldn’t complete the comeback and fell to the Ottawa 67’s 3-2 last night (Thursday) at Memorial Gardens.

Head Coach Stan Butler says they gave a good push, but they missed too many opportunities.

He also says they’re giving up way too many scoring chances and making bad plays at the wrong time.

Brad Chenier and Steve Harland scored for North Bay while Julian Sime made 22 saves in the loss.

The Battalion entertain the Peterborough Petes Sunday afternoon in their final game before the Christmas break.
