Student Senate survey finds out about student preparedness upon graduation

It’s a stressful time in a student’s life when they are about to graduate and move on to post-secondary school.

The Near North District School Board Student Senate recently set out to find how prepared students are for the next step.

Student Trustee Nathan Jeffrey says they surveyed the Near North student body with that question in mind.

He says they found a lot of students aren’t aware of what’s available to them in terms of guidance and funding. He adds they also looked at the correlation between school satisfaction and extra-curricular activities.

Jeffrey says they were able to get a feeling of how best to help students as they enter this part of their lives.
