Gord MillerNorth Bay’s Gord Miller, the former Environment Commissioner of Ontario, is seeking the federal Green Party nomination in Guelph.

In a release, Miller says the Green Party’s message of a different kind of politics has attracted a high calibre class of candidates and he’s looking forward “to joining them in Parliament soon.”

Green Party Leader Elizabeth May says Miller has been the “straight-shooting champion of environmental accountability from Ontario provincial governments through several administrations,”

She goes on to say Miller “will bring that same integrity and depth of knowledge to improve Parliamentary democracy.”

A nomination meeting in Guelph goes June 8th.
