Farmers marketStarting tomorrow (Saturday) and for every Saturday through the Thanksgiving long weekend, expect to see a big crowd in the parking lot behind the Transit Terminal.

The North Bay Farmer’s Market season begins tomorrow. They’ll be open, each Saturday from 830 am to 1 pm, rain or shine.

There will be food, artisan and craft items along with seasonal vegetables and plants and more.

Market Manager Heather Cote says they’ve grown and are offering more variety, but there’s another reason why they’ve seen the crowds grow too.

She says there’s more parking in their current location, which has made a difference.

The total number of seasonal vendors for the Saturday market is 44.

The smaller Wednesday markets are back again this year too with 20 seasonal vendors taking part.
