Over 15 businesses, contractors and suppliers will take part in today’s Reverse Trade Show. It’s happening from 9am to 1pm at Memorial Gardens today (Wednesday)

Purchasing Manager of the City is Paul Valenti, and he says the idea is an economic development initiative.

He says “it’s engaging the community; it’s letting them know that there are always businesses that want to learn how to do business with the public sector.”

Valenti says vendors and contractors can go in and chat with representatives of those organizations. They include the North Bay Regional Health Centre, Ontario Northland, North Bay Police and more.

There will also be a seminar by the Federal and Provincial Government from 11am to 12:30pm.
