toilet paperLast year, thanks to a campaign by TP North Bay over 15,000 rolls of toilet paper were delivered to our local food banks and the campaign is back again this year.

Spokesperson Ellen Faulkner of TP North Bay says their goal was surpassed last year as it was 10,000 and so this year they’ve increased their goal to 25,000 rolls of toilet paper. She says they’re going to increase the number of agencies that will be receiving the rolls too and include churches and other agencies in addition to food banks.

Also upping their involvement is Bay Truck Stop.

Spokesperson Tony Breault says last year they donated 20 cases and they’ve increased it by 10, to 30 cases this year.

He also has a challenge for chamber members to help the campaign.

Breault says its important to give back.

Collections will be accepted until the end of the month at various locations.
