North Bay Police with a busy couple of days making numerous arrests for drug related charges. As well, Police asking for the public’s help after to identify a couple of suspects after an incident last Saturday, and a 54 year old man facing charges for selling stolen property.

A 43 year old city woman is facing several charges after police observed a drug transaction between two people on Worthington West.

Police say Kelly Lynn Ramsay has been charged with trafficking in cocaine, possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possessing property obtained by crime.

As well, a 24 year old city male has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Police add a small amount of suspected cocaine and Canadian currency were seized.

 

North Bay Police need the public’s help in identifying two suspects following a mischief complaint.

Police say early last Saturday two males picked up a rock on the east side of a public building on McIntyre Street and threw it twice at window causing damage.  Police say both males ran off eastbound towards McIntyre and Sherbrooke Streets.

Police say one of the suspects was wearing a bandana while the others face was uncovered.  One male is described as 5’10” to 6’ with a slim build, wearing a tuque, a bearded face that was uncovered and was carrying a gym bag.

 

A 54 year old city man is facing several charges following an investigation by the street crime unit.

Police say a male was using a free classified web site to sell stolen property.  Police posed as a potential customer and attempted to purchase several fishing reels. Police say they were told the entire order wasn’t available and he would have to arrange to get them.

Police say they observed the male go into a department store, select 5 reels with a value of $900 and exit the store without purchasing them.

Barry Ernest Davidson has been charged with theft under $5,000, trafficking in stolen property over $5,000, possession of stolen property, possession of stolen property for the purpose of trafficking over $5,000 and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Police say they seized several stolen items valued at $6,000 and a set of brass knuckles

 

Mattawa OPP have charged a 41 year old North Bay man with several offenses after observing a vehicle going at a high rate of speed on highway 17 in Calvin Township.  Police charged the male with care or control of a motor vehicle over 80 milligrams, impaired operation of a motor vehicle and racing a motor vehicle.

Police say the driver had his vehicle seized for 7 days and had his license suspended for 7 days.
