Another loss for the North Bay Battalion, their 9th in a row.

The Troops dropped a 5-2 decision in Peterborough on Saturday night.

The Petes scored three goals in the third to win the game.

Justin Brazeau had both Battalion goals.

North Bay visits Ottawa today, for an afternoon matchup with the 67’s.

 

The Powassan Voodoos have now won 25 straight games.

The latest victory was a 3-0 shutout win in Iroquois Falls Saturday night.

Three different Voodoos scored in the win.

Powassan travels to Kirkland Lake for an afternoon game against the Gold Miners today.

 

In the OUA, the Nipissing Lakers men’s hockey team was 1-1 on the weekend.

After a 5-4 overtime win over Laurier on Friday the Lakers lost 3-1 to Waterloo on Saturday.

In women’s hockey, Nipissing lost 4-3 in a shootout to UOIT on Saturday.

This after a 3-2 loss to Queens on Friday.

Both Nipissing basketball teams were in action Saturday.

The men won 69-66 over Brock while the Nipissing women lost 76-67 to Brock.

Both Lakers teams lost to McMaster on Friday night.

 

Back to hockey, the North Bay Midget AAA Trappers won 8-1 over the Sudbury Minor Midget Wolves on Saturday.

The Trappers host the Soo Greyhounds this afternoon at Memorial Gardens.
