The North Bay Battalion have acquired 19 year old defenceman Jesse Saban from the Hamilton Bulldogs, in exchange for newly acquired blueliner Stephen Templeton.

Battalion Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Stan Butler says Saban is a big, strong stay-at-home defenceman who can play against good players on the other team and help bring some stability.

Templeton was acquired from Oshawa on Friday, but didn’t play for the Troops on their weekend road trip.
