Ball hockey 1 The YMCA-Voodoos Ball Hockey Classic will take place in just under a month.

It is a 3-on-3 tournament all day taking place on Main Street East in North Bay.

Powassan Voodoos General Manager Chris Dawson says as part of their agreement for letting the Voodoos players work out at the YMCA – the team would help put together a community event. He says “we came up with the idea of a ball hockey game in downtown North Bay and the money raised will go towards the Strong Kids Campaign.”

Brian Finner is with the YMCA and he says it’s important for the community to get involved in the Strong Kids Campaign. He says “the Strong Kids Campaign allows us to not turn anyone away at the door. It’s something we look forward to every year and we’re proud to say we are able to do that.”

There are 7 players maximum to a team with three games guaranteed. There is also a social after the event at Cecils and a BBQ lunch included. Call the YMCA to sign up.
