The Powassan Voodoos are back in the win column.

After their 26 game unbeaten streak was broken in the Soo, Michigan on Friday, the Voodoos were back in Ontario last night (Saturday) and won 4-2 over the Soo Thunderbirds.

Four different Powassan players scored in the win.

The Voodoos are in Blind River this afternoon.

 

In OUA women’s hockey, the Nipissing Lakers won 4-2 over Windsor.

They take on Western this afternoon.

Meantime, both Lakers volleyball teams won their games 3-0 over Trent.

In basketball, both Nipissing teams lost to Ottawa.

 

In OCAA men’s basketball, Canadore won 90-82 over La Cité.

The game was held on Military Appreciation night at Canadore.

 

Back to hockey, the North Bay Midget AAA Trappers won 3-2 in overtime over Kapuskasing.

The two teams play again this afternoon.
