If you’re wondering which intersections saw the most collisions in North Bay in 2016, wonder no more.

The North Bay Police Service has posted an interactive map to their website (click here) showing the top 20 intersections where collisions occurred last year.

Two saw nine crashes each.

They are Algonquin and Front and Fisher at McIntyre St East.

Another three, Cassells and Main West, Airport and O’Brien and Main East and Oak Street East, had eight collisions each.

The city police website says, “There is more traffic on North Bay streets now than ever before and most citizens rank traffic safety as a top priority. The North Bay Police Service strives to reduce injuries and save lives through traffic enforcement, directed patrols, and education to improve the safety of our streets for everyone.   We partner with other police services, road safety organizations, members of the media and community partners, to ensure the safe and efficient movement of traffic within the City of North Bay and the Municipality of Callander.”
