The latest U-Sports Top 10 rankings in women’s hockey are out and the Nipissing Lakers are holding steady.

They’re 8th in Canada for the second week in a row.

Nipissing won both of their games last weekend with forward Kaley Tienhaara recording five points in those two games.

She has been named the OUA Female Athlete of the Week.

Tienhaara scored a goal and an assist in Nipissing’s 4-2 win over Windsor on Saturday, then scored all 3 goals for the Lakers in their 3-1 win over Western on Sunday.

Nipissing is back in action Friday night at home to Ryerson.
