Local residents invited to Hockey Canada's Century Tour

Hockey Canada is celebrating 100 years and local residents will be able to celebrate too.

The Hockey Canada Century Tour is coming to North Bay next week.

The caravan includes a number of interactive elements and a history of Hockey Canada over the past 100 years.

Officials say there’s a state-of-the-art interactive timeline of milestone hockey moments and artifacts, simulated on-ice experiences, programs and activities for all ages.

The event runs from 1pm to 7pm Wednesday, April 15th at Memorial Gardens and it’s free.

With the tour, Hockey Canada’s goal is to engage more than one million fans over the course of the year.
