130 city workers could retire within five years

Expect to see more and more job opportunities with the City of North Bay over the next few years.

Mayor Al McDonald says there are 25 employees eligible for retirement this year. He says that figure reaches 130 over the next five years.

The city’s website (link below) includes a variety of general application forms including those for clerical, transit and labourer applications. In the meantime, there’s a variety of student summer jobs with the city.

McDonald says they’re a great opportunity for students to gain experience.

The deadline for those applications is March 4th.
