science fairFor many weeks local students in grades 7-12 have been working on science projects and today (Wednesday) they’ll be showing off their talents at the North Bay Regional Science Fair, which has been taking place for over 50 years.

It takes place at Nipissing University.

The public can view the 55 projects from 9 am to 5 pm and then the awards get handed out tonight starting at 6:15 pm.

Also on display will be Science on the Wall posters from Grade 1-6 students.

The awards ceremony takes place in the Nipissing Theatre (room F213).

The top five students will get the chance to go to the Canada-WIde Science Fair which is happening in May in New Brunswick.

There are 3 project categories: study, innovation and experiment.
