Six different goal scorers helped the Battalion in their 9-1 win over Sudbury last night (Thursday).

That gives them 28 wins on the season and 64 points, which is a 4 point lead over Niagara for third in the East.

Head Coach Stan Butler says with the playoff race so close they need to keep putting wins together.

He says this is a good starting point for a big weekend against Eastern Conference foes as they will play Mississauga on Friday and Peterborough on Sunday.

Jake Smith made 25 saves for his 23rd win of the year.

Captain Mike Amadio had another pair of goals to give him 9 in three games.

He says everything right now is working.

Matt Santos and Zach Poirier also had two goals, while David Sherman, Brett Hargrave and Steve Harland added to the score sheet.
