City Hall genericA couple of new multi-residential units could be built in North Bay.

Chair of Community Services Mark King says they are looking at a three story, nine unit building on Mowatt Crescent as well as another building on Marshall Avenue.

This would add 16 units and King says it would be great to drive up the population in that area with this type of building. He says single detached units are pretty expensive and the demographics suggest there is more of a need for smaller multi-residential units.

Council will vote on these proposals at their next meeting.
