nndsbThe Near North Board District School Board says a number of unexpected variables have emerged since a 2013 Accommodation Review involving three schools, that have positively impacted enrollment of the new elementary school build at the Pinewood site in North Bay.

It means adjustments for some students at J.W. Trusler school.

Because of projected enrollment growth, the Board is looking at sending some Trusler students to Vincent Massey in the fall.

In a release, the board says both schools will be impacted and so there will be information sessions in the coming days.

The first one will be Monday at Vincent Massey and the J.W. Trusler session will be next Thursday.

Both sessions start at 6:30 pm.

Parents are invited to attend and ask questions and the board says it will provide information on transition planning and the boundary adjustment.

The 2013 Accommodations Review involved Dr MacDougall, King George and J.W. Trusler Schools.
