Three days of negotiations between the Children’s Aid Society and CUPE Local 2049 have failed to produce an agreement.

The talks broke off yesterday (Sunday) with both sides saying they each made concessions.

CAS says their latest offer included workload management that matched a recent settlement between Peel CAS and its employees.

The union says they need workload language to be tailored to this region because local workers cover a huge geographical area.

The workers have been locked out since December 23rd.
