City police report three inmates at the North Bay Jail are facing arson and mischief charges after a disturbance at the jail on March 22nd.

It’s alleged extensive damage was caused inside the building and a fire was started.

Police say the Institutional Crisis Intervention Team responded and took control of the incident at the time.

One guard sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

 

A 31 year old Mississauga man is facing charges after an investigation and traffic stop Friday night around 8 pm on Station Road in North Bay.

City police say nearly 70 grams of cocaine and nearly 200 grams of marijuana were seized along with $420 in cash and 4 cellphones.

The estimated street value of the drugs is nearly $11,000.
