Nipissing UniversityWe told you earlier about a report by auditor Pricewaterhouse Coopers on Nipissing University.

They were asked by the province to deliver a report on the impact of changes to teacher-education programs and there were several recommendations including cutting courses and faculty, selling off assets and improving its financial controls.

President Dr Mike DeGagne says the report was authored last year and many of the changes in the report have already been implemented. He says it was released last year in the spring and summer and presented to the board of governors in October.

Degagne was asked about any future cuts in light of reductions last year in administration, faculty and the closure of campuses in Brantford and Bracebridge.

Degagne says they continue to look at effeciencies but nothing on the scale of what has already taken place.
